So for some reason, despite having slept three hours last night (between 6am and 9am), I couldn't catch any sleep while I napped before dinner today. Grrrrr.
Now I have to check eLearning and make sure I don't have Japanese homework. And maybe catch up on old stuff. /busybusy
Also my Iron Man DVD and Speed Grapher manga arrived today, which makes me very happy~ :D The manga is actually a lot better than I expected (it's actually still cute) and the movie is, well, Iron Man. Nuff said. Buying stuff makes me happy~ (Retail therapy?) I bought Prince of Persia over the weekend too~ &hearts
Annnnd I got accepted at discedo~ woot woot~ If I RP today, I have to try to cut it short and go to sleep early, or else this sleep will be the death of me.

I got paid today~ Literally and LJ-ily (a year, too~!). Lol, not having a job ever makes $51 look like a godsend~ I think I need to manage my money better because I feel like I spend a lot on "frivolous things" but damn if it feels good to spend money on what I love. /pray to God I make a lot of money after I graduate.
I think I might get a job at Bartol next year, or actually be gung-ho about a real job, that way my parents won't have to send me money like they are this semester. Though, I mean, it makes me kinda happy to hear that my dad's actually waiting for me to ask. He's always so bitchy about money, I'd never except him to actually want to help me with that &hearts
Also I am officially cured from the cold, at least I think so~! My nose is still congested but today is the first day where my brain doesn't feel lost in a haze. Happiness~!

s-sob. I want this so bad.** So bad. Tokyopop said they were going to release the novel, sure. But they lied. Goddammit, why must you liiieeeee??? I'm also pretty sure there's no 3rd volume of Speed Grapher either. God, I wish there were someone at Tokyopop I could ask about this, because finding the novel in English would fulfill my life like burning.
In other news, I think I got my roommate sick. That's to be expected, of course. My only health problem now is I have nasal congestion like a boss woah and it's making my head wanna fall over. (Is it weird that I feel sicker today than I did yesterday? This congestion's gonna be the end of me.) Also I've been ignoring my roleplays, and I feel bad about it because... well, I'm gonna app Kagura over at ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) discedo and that's kind of a big deal. I haven't been in a serious roleplay in a while and I feel like it's starting to show. Maybe I need some structure in my life? I don't just wanna drop everyone else, but...
Well, no matter.*** I'm due for class registration in about an hour, which could suck if the classes I want are all full. Having a really open schedule means your registration window opens last, it seems. And me being in Honors means I can choose up to 4 (or 5) classes, whereas all the non-Honors First-Years have 3 (or 4) classes to choose from cuz of the MCC. /sob I just want my Creative Writing Course, is that so hard?

I might try my hand at the sketchober stuff, since my schedule is going to make doing a comic page a day rough. we shall see, I usually only do journal comics these days so I figured trying to get back into unfinished sketch stuff might be nice.

Might take off for a couple days upstate next week, our NEW baker is going to be giving notice. so I dont know how things are going to be a work, I imagine hellish at best.

Well, it turns out I have the flu. Or a virus. Or the swine. It's hard to tell when they've got me quarantined to my room and don't want me to leave for a check-up.
I felt like crap this morning, and I still have a fever, but I'm not feeling too horrible thanks to a day of napping and resting. I'm sad that I'll miss class (oh God, missing Japanese is gonna suuuuuck) but in the meantime I'm to remain confined to my room; wearing a mask if I ever have to go to the bathroom or something like that.
Personally, I think it's probably a virus, as it turns out two other girls from my Honors class are sick, and I heard that even my CS teacher might be feeling under the weather.
In any case, thanks for the get well wishes, everybody~! I think it's working so far~

I think I might have the flu. I don't know what kind (swine?) but it's pretty obvious that I'm sick; my head feels heavy, my throat is dry as a husk and standing makes me feel wobbly and off-center. What's worse, my dorm is supposed to have thermometers but they ran out. Guh, I'll have to stop by the Health Center first thing.
So much for vitamins, allergy meds and caution... oh well, when you get a virus, you get a virus. I just hope I don't get my roommate sick... not immediately, anyway. It would suck if we were both decommissioned.
And now, back to my essays. God, I can't wait for next semester... |

| Trick or Treat? |

❶ Create a graphic (200 x 200 max size) to represent your personal "candy". It should have your username on it, but otherwise can feature whatever you want. Make it something special since it's self-representative.
➋ Make a post with the subject "trick or treat?". Put your "candy" somewhere in it, and be sure to repost these instructions.
➌ Then, go around other people's LJs and reply to them with either "trick" or "treat". If you reply with "trick", they will give you an LJ dare that you have to perform before taking their candy. If you're too wimpy for that, simply say "treat" and take their candy.
➍ List all your collected candies in your original "trick or treat?" post to show off your collection!
